Stock Donations
UCM recognizes that many people prefer to make a contribution in the form of a stock or share donation. To learn how to donate stock, please click here.
Please print and complete the Advanced Notification Form and mail it to UCM. This will enable us to acknowledge your donation and verify that the donation has been credited to our account. For general information about stock donations, please email your inquiry to the Director of Development or call (703)768-7106 ext.338.

Memorials/Honorariums
There is no better way to celebrate a life or honor a special event than to contribute to the well being of those in need. To make a donation in honor or in memory of an individual, couple or family, please include with your donation the name and address of the next of kin or the honoree so that UCM can acknowledge the gift. Wills/Bequests
What better way to create a living memorial of your life and continue to help those in need than to name UCM as a beneficiary in your will? By designating UCM as a recipient of your estate, your generosity will be able to help those in need long after you have departed. The provision in your Will for making a gift to United Community Ministries will depend upon the type of gift and your own circumstances. Below you will find samples for different types of bequests.

GIFT FOR A SPECIFIC PURPOSE
I give and bequeath to United Community Ministries of Alexandria, Virginia, the sum of $________________(or __________% of my estate; or the property described herein) to be used for __________________(specify the purpose).

SPECIFIC LEGACY
I give, devise and bequeath my home, farm, car, etc. to United Community Ministries of Alexandria, Virginia.

RESIDUARY LEGATEE
All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real, personal or mixed, I give, devise and bequeath to United Community Ministries of Alexandria, Virginia.
