Journeys Housing Program
The Journeys Supportive Housing Program is funded
through HUD
and is a part of the countywide Continuum of Care application process.
Through the Journeys program, UCM provides supportive housing services
at the point of displacement for families who have fled a domestic
violence situation. Not only are families provided housing, but also
supportive services aimed at teaching them to become self-sufficient.
Nine families are housed through this program. Referrals for this
program are primarily taken from area domestic violence and family
shelters.
