April 19             Aldersgate United Methodist Church Women's Friendship Circle

                          Fashion Show Benefit for UCM

                          This annual event will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1301 Collingwood Road. Fashions will

                                   be presented by CHICO's. The Fashion Show with other vendors participating will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00

April 22             Annual Hilltop Golf Benefit Benefit for UCM and Good Shepherd Housing

                          Hit a Hole-in-One and win a car at the 5th annual Hilltop Charity Golf Outing.  All proceeds

                                   benefit UCM and Good Shepherd Housing.  This challenging 9-hole golf course, located at 7900 Telegraph

                                   Road, is one of the most popular driving ranges in the DC area.  Tee times start at 9:00 a.m.  Check-in is

                                   30 minutes prior to tee time.  Free range balls for warm-up.  Lunch will be provided.  For further information,

May 10              UCM’s Spring Gala and Auction

                          Belle Haven Country Club

                          Friends of UCM annual spring gala will be held at the Belle Haven Country Club, 6023 Ft. Hunt Road.  This

                                   lovely club, overlooking the Potomac River will be a great setting for an evening of festive live music and dancing

                                   with pto (formerly Franklin Gothic).  Cocktails and a wonderful International Buffet Station will be available.  There will

                                   be both a silent auction and a live auction with our guest auctioneer, Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay. For further

May 10                  Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

                          It's easy to help!!  Put some non-perishable food items in a bag or box and place it by your mailbox.  Your

                          letter carrier will pick it up and deliver it to UCM.
